Daniel Almond - GM
Daniel Almond is a seasoned business leader with a diverse background in sports management, commercial operations, and entrepreneurship. As General Manager of the Brisbane Bandits, he oversaw all aspects of the organization, contributing to their success on and off the field. Later, as Commercial Manager of the Gold Coast SUNS, he drove revenue growth through strategic partnerships and innovative sports marketing.
Daniel has held leadership roles such as Global Sales Manager, State Sales Manager, and Business Development Manager, consistently building high-performing teams and expanding revenue. As an entrepreneur, he founded and managed businesses like The Car Place, The Wash, The Workshop, The Café, and his consultancy.
Known for his strategic vision and commitment to excellence, Daniel continues to make significant contributions to the business community, as General Manager of HD Capital. Where he leads the Hedge Funds day to day operations and business development efforts.

Dan Palmer - CEO
Hannah – After completing a degree in Business Management, Hannah began her professional journey as a Personal Assistant to the Director at a prominent real estate agency. This role ignited her passion for finance and numbers. Leveraging this newfound interest, she transitioned into financial trading, where she has spent the past decade honing her expertise.
Hannah’s career progression has led her to play a pivotal role in establishing a licensed hedge fund, where she currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this capacity, she oversees the financial operations, ensuring strategic growth and compliance. Her extensive experience in both real estate and financial sectors has equipped her with a unique skill set, enabling her to excel in dynamic, high-stakes environments.
Dan moved to Australia as a Project Manager & consultant following service with the British Military. Having worked on multiple large scale social infrastructure projects around the country and gaining much experience, he opened his own firm. It was through this company he met his now wife and CFO of HD Capital “Hannah”.
With a passion for mathematics and engineering, Dan commenced trading the financial markets in 2012 as a hobby to fill downtime between projects. Over time he began coding Algorithms based on identified recurring mathematical patterns he found within the markets.
This sparked a passion for trading, and he quickly become consistently profitable. By 2016, profits from trading eclipsed those made from project management, so the decision was made to sell majority of the firm.
This led to the Hannah and Dan launching their own Hedge Fund “HD Capital” Where they consistently make Wholesale investors a 15% return year on year.
